The company was founded in Cornedo Vicentino in 1928 by Giovanni Zamperetti. At that time Giovanni installed a small sawmill for cutting types of wood that were abundant locally: primarily chestnut, cherry, ash and fir. Power was produced by water-powered turbines.
In 1940 Antonio joined his father to run the company and together they expanded its activities to bring it to its current size. They installed the log-saw on a new site and in the 1960’s they moved the company to its current site in Via Luzzatti, 1.
In 1992, following Antonio’s untimely death, his sons Maurizio and Luca joined the company.
The company now occupies an area of about 25,000 sq.m with 15,000 sq.m covered space.
